Bequest
You can make a real difference in your lifetime by including the Kokoda Track Foundation in your Will. By leaving a bequest to the Foundation, you can ensure that our life changing work with the people of Papua New Guinea continues long into the future.
Please Support The Foundation In Your Will
A Will shows that you care about the people you love and gives you the peace of mind knowing that your wishes for your family and friends have been made clear. Once you have provided for your loved ones, we invite you to support the vital work of the Foundation in PNG by including us in your Will as you would any other individual.
How To Leave A Bequest To The Foundation
There are three main ways that you can support the work of the Foundation in your Will:
1. You can choose to leave the Foundation the balance or residue of your estate – after you have provided for loved ones
2. You can nominate a percentage of your estate to the Foundation
3. You can leave a specific amount or item to the Foundation
Suggested Wording For Your Will
“I give and bequeath to The Kokoda Track Foundation Ltd (ABN 45 103 660 948) a company limited by guarantee, of Level 10, 19-31 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, the (residue or balance of my estate / percentage / specific sum or item) to be used for the purposes of the Foundation’s work in Papua New Guinea.”
What If I Have Already Made A Will?
If you already have a Will, it is easy to add the Foundation. You simply need to contact your solicitor and add the appropriate wording and name The Kokoda Track Foundation Ltd as a beneficiary. It’s important to get the exact wording and details correct, so please contact your solicitor to make any changes to your Will.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the Kokoda Track Foundation and for considering the lasting impression that you can make by including the Foundation in your Will. If you decide to include us in your Will, please let us know so that we can thank you personally and keep you up to date with the ongoing work of the Foundation.
