![]() In TouchNews & Events ArchiveGood 'Apinun' Mr Egan 28 July 2010Mr Greg Egan from the Australian Catholic University spent one month during June this year volunteering as a teacher in Efogi Primary School and Manari Community School. Greg spent time teaching in the classroom and running teacher in service workshops with the teachers at both schools. Greg was so well received by both villages who have told the KTF that this is the first time they have experienced something like this! We are so grateful to Greg for his time and enthusiasm. Read the Full Article »Krappers for Kokoda 28 July 2010The Kokoda Track Foundation's Krappers for Kokoda project is moving full steam ahead thanks to the support of our project partners. We now have 5 eco-toilets installed in Ua Ule Creek, Ofi Creek, Agulogo, Manari, and Kagi campsites and two more to come at Iarowari High School and Kokoda Skills Training Centre. Hannah Kinross from Victoria, Australia tragically died in the plane crash. In memory of Hannah, the Foundation is honoured to announce the Hannah Kinross Fuzzy Wuzzy Angel Scholarship Fund. Read the Full Article »KTF awards first ever PhD Scholarship 9 June 2010The Kokoda Track Foundation is proud to announce its very first PhD Fuzzy Wuzzy Angel scholarship holder - Madeline Lemeki. Madeline is a mother of two boys and in 2010 was accepted into the PhD program at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
