Community Health Worker Scholarships 3 February 2010

The Kokoda Track Foundation has launched its 2010 tertiary scholarship program by awarding four Kokoda Track villagers with scholarships to train as Community Health Workers. The four students are from Naduri, Efogi, and Enivilogo villages and will return to their home village aid post or health centre in 2012 after they have qualified as Community Health Workers. 2010 Kokoda Calendars: 1/2 price! 12 January 2010

2010 Kokoda Calendars are half price! Hurry before stocks run out! All proceeds go to our education and health programs in PNG. Please help the Foundation continue its work along the Kokoda Track by taking a piece of Kokoda home with you today. Photographs have been submitted by trekkers, Kokoda veterans, and other individuals who are passionate about the Kokoda Track and they represent the Kokoda Spirit - both then and now. Calendars are now only $20 each and can be purchased online.

Oro Province Flood Disaster 10 December 2009

Severe flooding has destroyed thousands of food gardens, damaged bridges and roads, and contaminated food and water supplies throughout Papua New Guinea’s Oro (Northern) Province. The KTF has launched a Disaster Relief and Food Restoration Appeal and is urging Australians to assist the people of PNG via our appeal.
