Kokoda Game Honours Diggers and Raises Awareness for KTF 3 June 2010

Last Sunday, the 30th of May, the Hawthorn AFL Club hosted the Kokoda Game against the Sydney Swans at the MCG in Melbourne. 36,000 people attended and remembered and honoured the sacrifices made by the Kokoda Diggers and Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels during the Kokoda Campaign in the second world war.

Cocktail Party Raises Awareness and Grows Support 2 June 2010

The Foundation hosted its Annual General Meeting and Cocktail Party on Wednesday the 26th of May. It was a wonderful evening for guests to hear about our work in PNG. Major General Michael Jeffery spoke to the guests about the history of the Kokoda Campaign, the modern day relationship between Australia and PNG, and the vital work of the Foundation in communities along the Kokoda Track.

Kokoda Game - Hawthorn supports KTF 5 May 2010

The Hawthorn Football Club has unveiled its special one-off jersey for the inaugural Kokoda Game against the Sydney Swans at the MCG on  May 30. Proceeds from the sale of the autographed jerseys and other fundraising activities on the day will go the Foundation's Adopt an Angel Scholarship Scheme.
